RentLekh is a digital ledger application designed for record-keeping purposes only. We are not a property management agency, a legal representative, or a financial institution. The app is provided 'as is' without expressed or implied warranties.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Any activity, including data entry or access sharing with stakeholders/family members, performed under your account is your sole responsibility.

The User (Landlord/Manager) is solely responsible for the accuracy of all data entered, including rent amounts, dates, and payment statuses. While we strive for accuracy in calculations, users are advised to verify critical data. RentLekh is not liable for financial discrepancies or legal disputes arising from incorrect data entry.

RentLekh is NOT a payment processor. We do not handle, hold, or move any actual money. All payments (Cash, UPI, Bank Transfer) occur strictly between the Landlord and Tenant outside of this application. RentLekh shall NOT be held responsible for payment failures, fraudulent transfers, or disputes regarding the actual transfer of funds.

While we prioritize data security, RentLekh is not liable for any loss of data, corruption of records, or unauthorized access resulting from factors beyond our control or technical failures. Users are encouraged to maintain independent backups of critical records.

Users agree not to engage in any activities that interfere with the app's functionality, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, or use the platform for fraudulent or illegal purposes.

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue features to improve functionality. Continued use of the app after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RentLekh and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use this service.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the developer's registered location.
